Kadina Show- Led Wether Goat Competition 2021

After two years of pouring rain at the Kadina Livestock event, this year the weather was kind to us and we experience a beautiful sunny day on August 22nd.

A group of thirteen students from Miss Townsend’s Year 7-9 Agriculture classes looked fantastic in their red and black show uniforms – and the four goats looked pretty good too!

Darren, Damo, Moe and Jimmy were proudly displayed in the Grand Parade, wearing their best halters and bandanas. This was followed by a number of very competitive rounds of judging to select the student considered the overall best ‘goat handler’.

Congratulations to all the students involved. Thank you for spending your Sunday representing CYS and doing us proud. Thanks also to the many parents, staff and community members who visited us during the day to cheer on our team.
