Central Yorke School has welcomed six Wether LED goats that will be prepared for exhibition at the Royal Adelaide Show in September.
Over the coming months, Year 9/10 Agriculture students will work closely with the goats, developing skills in leading, washing, grooming and training as they prepare the animals for competition.
The project provides students with practical, hands on experience in livestock management while building confidence, responsibility and knowledge of the agricultural industry.
Students will continue working with the goats throughout the term as they prepare to represent Central Yorke School at the Royal Adelaide Show.
