On Friday May 14 , the Year 11 Nutrition class cooked three meals containing a variety of superfoods. Prior to their cook up they learnt that a superfood is one which contains more than one nutritional benefit. These included an avocado carbonara pasta, a berry smoothie bowl and a haloumi salad.
They shared the final products with the Year 11 PE class. They explained the nutritional benefits of the ingredients within the meals. The tasting was enjoyed by all and they received positive feedback.
