The 4/5 classes are investigating kites in their STEM lessons. Last week we made a paper kite that used origami folds to provide stability. This week we made a ‘sugar-glider’ kite that uses straws as a frame. Students have so far developed skills in measuring, cutting, folding, knot-tying, and problem solving.
